Tips to a healthy Pool:

If you are having a problem with your fiberglass pool DO NOT DRAIN THE POOL YOURSELF. If your pool is drained without proper instructions and supports, ground pressure outside the pool could cause the structure to buckle or crack.  Please contact us before you drain your pool.

Keep your water level in the center of the skimmer.  Low water level may cause the pump to loose prime resulting in pump damage and high water levels will reduce skimmer effectiveness.

Do no use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, metal scrapers, or hard bristle brushes on any part of your pool.

Check your skimmer and strainer often and remove any debris.  If debris is left in the skimmer or strainer, water will not circulate properly within the pool and may result in pump damage.  Caution: make sure you turn off your pump when removing the strainer.

You should run your pump 6 to 8 hours when water is swimming temperature and 3 to 5 hours at lower temperatures.  You may want to set your timer to cycle on and off in a 24 hour period to balance circulation.

When the pressure rises above 10 pounds above your starting pressure, you need to backwash the filter.  If the gauge falls below the starting pressure, check for debris in the skimmer and strainer.  If the reading remains low check for cracked or broken piping on the pump.

Always follow manufactures operation and maintenance for all pool equipment and accessories.
